New shoes

I'm a woman who likes to shop. And I LOVE new shoes. Little did I know how Carys would love it too! (The new shoes part, not necessarily the shopping & keeping your hands off everything while in stores part...)

So we ventured out to Stride Rite...and these brightly colored shoes caught my eye. Carys thought they were pretty cool. Chad though they were just bright (and they are...) Carys wore them home & told several strangers on the way to the car "See, new shoes! Big girl shoes!"

Here she is showing them off...even though she'd just had a bath & clearly didn't need to wear shoes any more for the day.

Oh, and my child likes to have props in photos. She had to grab the play ice cream cone from her play kitchen before I said "cheese!".
