Conversation with Carys, version 23.2

We drive by a couple of horse pastures everyday. Carys & Cailyn love to look at the horsies, and we always have a little chat about what the horses are doing.
There's a donkey in one of the pastures, that Carys is quite fond of. And recently, she's also quite fond of asking me a million questions about the donkey.

Carys: Mommy, what is that donkey eating?
Me: Grass.
Carys: Oh. Well, what's that's donkey's name?
Me: I'm not sure. I don't know that donkey.

Carys: Well, is it a boy, or a girl?
Me: I'm driving Carys, I can't really look to see. Does it look like a girl donkey?
Carys: No. I think it's a boy.
Me: Why do you say that?
Carys: Because....all boys are donkeys!

I almost swerved into the ditch I was laughing so hard. She had no idea what she had said that was so funny, which made me laugh harder.

So young. But so wise!
