Is it Friday yet???

Saturday we all headed to the Cumberland County Fair - we had a great time. Although it was cut short because Cailyn got sick. We were all watching Carys & Landon on the kiddie roller coaster - and the next thing you know, my mom was covered in puke.
Poor Cailyn. And poor Nana.
We left promptly after that & had to pull over half-way home to clean Cailyn up...again. Thankfully, that was the end of PukeFest. Now I just have an ultra-clingy (I mean more than normal clinging since she's already so clingy) 15-month-old.

Cailyn is feeling better, but is still not 100%. Turns out she had a tummy bug, with an oncoming mystery illness.
She had her 15-month well-check yesterday, and they checked her out for the mystery illness while we were there. Roseola. She broke out with the rash as I was sitting in the waiting room - literally. The rash can last for a few days - or a few WEEKS!!!! Yikes - I hope it goes away quickly. It doesn't seem to bother her, but it just looks like it would hurt.

The check-up went well, and she avoided her shots this time since she wasn't feeling well - so we have to go back for those in 2 weeks.

I don't think Cailyn looks like a little peanut, but she's so tiny on the growth charts.
Weight - 20 pounds, 3.75 ounces (25th percentile)
Height - 31" (75th percentile)

Here she is, before PukeFest. Rockin' those glamour shades!

Carys, Landon & Shannon with ANThony - the Fire Antz mascot.
They thought he was cool from a distance...but not so cool up close.
They kept their distance.

Carys & the pony ride

Carys & the goats. And a camel.
(I had my hand sanitizer in hand!)

Carys & Landon.
They love each other - even though this picture doesn't show it.

Carys' favorite thing to do was the mamma-jamma super slide.
She went down a few times - she loved it!

Look at the sheer joy on her face.
Chad, you need to figure out how to get one of these in our backyard!

This is the last picture I took at the fair....PukeFest happened shortly thereafter.

The Lanford family, minus Cailyn.
I think Nana took off with her when we snapped this.

Landon & our favorite Auntie Cousin Shannon

So, that's our update for now. Chad says I've been falling down on blog duty. Sorry 'bout that. I didn't even get online yesterday. At all. So much to do.

Carys is having a blast in preschool - she is learning the rules and doing pretty well most days. All of the moms in her class are starting a playgroup starting this Friday, so that should be a lot of fun. It will be nice for me to get acquainted with all the moms. Fun for her, fun for me!

Skye Kiera has Roseola in June. Her rash only lasted for 24 hours. I love Carys on the slide! She was really rockin it :-)

So much fun! Even the pukey part...
Carys was amazing on the biiiig slide! No fear in that child! Next year, Cai will get to enjoy it more. And, yeah, Chad, do that backyard slide thing....
(I beat you this time Nikki!)

Oh, Nana-I actually had some WORK to do today!! But Skye can vouch for me...how many times have I checked the blog for an update today? Guess I didn't have that much work! :)

Darcy had Roseola too. Maybe it is the age for it.
I was really nervous about how bad Darcy's rash got and it took a couple weeks to go away, then she had a couple day flare up after that. I hope that Cailyn doesn't get the rash bad.

The pictures are great. Carys on the slide...so cute! Little daredevil! And cute movie star glasses :)

I've been blog slacking too. Must be the time of year or the cooling weather or some excuse. Love the purple shades, but too bad about the pukies.
