Her very first haircut

I know, I know, she's two years old. And I haven't cut a single strand of her hair yet.
She has been asking if she could get a haircut for about a month or so now. I let her forget about it, and then she would bring it up again every few days. Since we've been back from vacation, she's been steady with the "My haircut, too, Mommy!"

And, truth be told, it was getting stringy. And I did need to cut it. I just didn't want to.
I gave in. And chopped off about an inch - just enough to satisfy her and make it look SO much better.

She's the proudest little beauty queen now. She kept looking in the mirror last night, rubbing her new 'do & saying, "Oh! I like it! My hair is cut now!"

Oh, she is just too cute! She is getting to be such a big girl. I hope you saved some of her hair.

Why is it that when that first cut takes place, they suddenly look older??
She looks totally different to me, but still (even more) beautiful!

I saved it - it doesn't look like much in the little bag. But it made such a huge difference!

Her hair had gotten long! She looks so much like Carys in those bottom pictures. What little beauties you have!

You must pull her hair up a lot because I had no idea her hair was that long already. I still picture those little pixie pigtails in my mind. She is a little beauty queen, look at those dry curly full locks. Gorgeous!!!
