When in Wal-Mart...

You all know & love our darling daughter Carys.
She does the darnedest things:

I did not witness this, as I had meandered to another area of the store.
I can only imagine Chad's face & the laughter of innocent bystanders.

Chad needed new undies. (Sorry to share that fact dear, but it's critical to the story.)
So Cailyn & I go to another section of the store while Chad & Carys look at all the options.
Truth be told, Carys wanted to check out the cool backpacks nearby.

Apparently there was a conversation like:

Carys: Daddy, what are you doing?
Chad: Um...I'm looking at underwear.
Carys: Panties? For Carys?
Chad: Boys call them underwear or boxers, but they're not for you. These are for daddies...for big boys.

Carys is satisfied with the answer, and "helps" him look.

Carys: Daddy, these panties are too big for me. I wear tiny panties, see?

This is the part where Carys pulls her pants down around ankles to, in fact, show Chad that she wears tiny panties.

Chad says he realized she was standing there with her pants down & pulled them up as fast as he could. Then he flew around the store, trying to find me.
I wish I could have seen that first-hand.
He says there were some people in the aisle when she did it. I wish I could have seen their faces.
Scratch that - I think I would have yanked her pants up, told her that wasn't a good thing to do, and then try to stifle my hysterical laughter as I high-tailed it out of the undie-department.
I mean, what do you do?

Can you imagine? Minding your own business in Wal-Mart, only to be flashed by a 3-year-old?

That. Child. Is. Something. Else.
